Jennifer Merrill
Licensed Massage Therapist & Esthetician

Jennifer Merrill is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician and a Co-owner of Bayport Wellness Center who has been dedicated to holistic health for over 13 years. After graduating from the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences as a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of New York, Jenny continued her studies and received her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from C.W. Post Long Island University.

As a LMT, Jenny listens and works with clients to ensure that each session meets the individual’s specific needs by incorporating methods such as myofascial techniques, Swedish, trigger points and deep tissue to help alleviate symptoms.

As her career progressed as a LMT, she furthered her education by becoming a Licensed Esthetician. Jenny has incorporated her beliefs in the healing properties of plants and minerals into her facials by combining the latest technology and using an all organic, natural product line that are more effective than others products containing harsh chemicals and fillers.

Jenny has brought together the best team of practitioners and products to serve the Bayport and South Shore area to promote a balance life of health, beauty and wellness.

Ashley Awand
Licensed Massage Therapist & Esthetician

Her passion about skincare is evident by her vast knowledge of products and various facial techniques for different skin types. Ashley has been providing expert skincare by using the latest techniques and premium products on clients ever since attending New York Institute of Beauty and receiving her Esthetics license in 2015. At the same time, she continued her education by attending New York College of Health Professions to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. Ashley specializes in alleviating any tension or pain and putting the mind and body into total relaxation. As someone who is dedicated to wellness, Ashley’s long-term plan is to attend New York College to pursue acupuncture and Oriental medicine programs to further her healing abilities. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys traveling, kickboxing, and spending time with her family.

Kate Gajewski
Reiki Master

Kate is a certified Reiki Master practitioner. Over the past two years, Kate was able to heal herself to shed layers of negative energy and toxicity away and replace with love, gratitude and grace for herself as well as others who are blessed to cross her path. Through Reiki, she has found her beautiful gift of intuition of the bodies’ physical and subtle energy centers as well as developing her own psychic / intuitive abilities of reading angel and tarot cards.

With her degree in Psychology from the University at Albany and a Master’s of Science in Childhood Education from Dowling College, Kate also uses her knowledge, healing and compassionate energy as a Special Education Teacher for adults with disabilities. For the past several years, Kate has been working at a non-for-profit organization, Pal-O-Mine Equestrian as a Special Education Teacher and working with horses as her “co-teachers” to communicate and connect with adults with learning challenges.

Kate's gift of intuitive energy, compassion and her beautiful light is a gift for those seeking healing or looking to become a Reiki practitioner.

Dr Brian Crouse
Naturopathic Care and Acupuncture

As both a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist, Dr. Crouse uses his unique skills to combine Naturopathic and Chinese perspectives in a holistic approach to care. He always looks to pinpoint the root cause of the problem and never forgets the importance of addressing body, mind, and spirit.

Dr Crouse uses acupuncture, herbal medicines, genotype diet assessment, individualized natural supplement plan, homeopathy and herbal medicines to treat a wide range of issues including pain management, allergies, asthma, fatigue, digestive disorders, stress, anxiety and other symptoms.

Cupping can be incorporated to help detox and heal the body. Dr. Crouse also personalizes clinical nutrition by using herbal medicine and practices blood type, genotype diet assessment, nutrigenomics and physical medicine.

Dr. Crouse, ND, LAc completed his five-year medical training and internship at both the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine and the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute graduating Magna Cum Laude. He holds the NCCAOM Diplomate of Acupuncture designation and is a member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

His education included studying under Dr. Linda Lancaster, ND, LAc at the Light Harmonic Institute in Manhattan and Santa Fe, NM. He also trained for two years at the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine under the supervision of world renown Dr. Peter D’Adamo, ND; author of the Blood Type Diet books. He is trained in providing a client’s personalized genomic nutritional and microbiome consults.

Sarah Beth Sparling
Front Desk Manager, Licensed Massage Therapist

Having been trained at the New York College of Health Professions, Sarah understands that every clients’ needs are different. By diagnosing the problem, Sarah alleviates and treats each individual based on their symptoms. Sarah’s unique style incorporates Eastern Asian techniques by stretching and applying acupressure points to move energy through meridians which results in a longer lasting effect on her clients; leaving them in a full state of relief through mind and body. Her range of massages includes Swedish, Shiatsu, Myofascial Release,

Deep Tissue, Prenatal and Infant.

Not only is she attune to healing through Massage Therapy, but Sarah is multi-faceted and curious about other mediums. Sarah is training to become a certified Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master. In her spare time, she also helps manage BWC. When she is not working, Sarah’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her young son.
